Wut is the best type\brand of shampoo\conditioner for thin, damaged hair??

my hair is pretty much straight, but it has annoying kinks throughout so I straighten it everyday, which has made it extremely damaged. so if u could recommend a professional brand, and maybe the name of the specific line. thx!

Well first of all be sure to get regular trims. best shampoo / conditioner I have found is Redkin Clear Moisture. it has repaired my fine hair and makes it super soft and shiny. Plus it's not to heavy and doesn't weigh it down. Pantene (like some of the others have said) is really not good for your hair it is full of chemicals that actually make your problems worse by just coating your hair to mask the problem. next be sure to protect your hair by using some kind of straightening serum I recommend Bumble and Bumble Straight if you can afford it. http://www.bumbleandbumble.com/ you can only get it at Bumble and bumble salons there is a salon locator on the website. good luck

If you want it straight, try Matrix's Sleek Looks or Joico's Silk Results. I always prefer Joico. You can get it at a salon or Trade Secrets. Also, if you can, adjust your flat iron lower so it doesn't damage so much. Before you flat iron, rub a bit of BioSilk through your hair to protect from damage. Only wash your hair once or twice a week, otherwise you're just washing out all the healthy oils your scalp produces. Oil Sheen is good for after you straighten too, especially Motions, because it adds shine and moisturizes. Leave in conditioners are always excellent too.

hello...pantene is a super good brand of shampoo and conditioner. it is just a little bit on the pricey side, but it works wonders! theres different kinds, and for you, you would probably want to buy "volumizer" and "strengthener" kind. they have descriptions on the back.

i know you didnt ask this..but to keep the beautiful pantene-ness, you can buy hair things (like a liquid) that stops the burning from the straightener. i'm not sure what its called, but i'll look it up and add to this later.

chi is a realy good kind of straightener- it makes ur hair shiny, healthy, and straight really quickly!

I HAVE TO SAY THAT PANTIE-NE IS THE WORST FOR DAMAGE HAIR BECAUSE IT IS FULL WITH CHEMICALS. DOVE IS PRETTY GOOD I WOULD SAY THE MOST GENTLE , BUT IF YOU REALLY WANT TO IMPROVE YOUR HAIR I WOULD RECOMMEND SOMETHING WITH ALOE OR NATURAL EXTRACTS.

I use Biolustre Florida. google it, I love it, it has a dialy shampoo too. check it out, my girlfriend bought and tried it and ever since we both buy it every month. when it comes down to it, the cost equals what you spend on shampoo, conditioner, leave in conditioner, hot oil treatments, etc... in 1 month. haha, i sound like my girlfriend. hope that helps. i think webstie www.biolustreflorida.com, not sure, have to find card in bedroom. you will love the stuff
