Hair Problems!! Plz Help!?

I have really long thin hair and need some hairstyling tips (cute hairstyles, good shampoo's 2 use etc.) thnx!

Hair Problems!! Plz Help!?

Three words: Mousse, mousse, mousse!! Mousse is the absolute key to gravity defying, bouncy, voluminous hair.

I have the same problem with my hair, so I use a light shampoo and conditioner by dove meant for oily hair, so it doesn't weigh me down, and always apply a liberal amount of mousse throughout my hair. Then I blow dry while holding my head upside down! This creates volume directly from the roots and makes it super fluffy and touchable.

As for cuts, I'd strongly suggest getting some layers. Everybody can afford getting layers added to their hair. They automatically add volume and fluffiness as well as a very appealing style. Long, side-swept bangs are also lovely. I have them, and believe me, they work great from distracting away from the rest of your head and however terrible it may look that day.

Lastly, and perhaps most importantly, accessories. Accessories are key to having a good hairstyle, and you should never be afraid to use them. Bows, ribbons, bobby pins, barrettes, headbands, and you name it can all be used. One good hair accessory, paired with the right cut can make a world of difference! Just try to be bold, and eventually, your natural hairstyle will take shape!

Hair Problems!! Plz Help!?

really good shampoo's -

aussie. if you use conditoner, use the "3 minute miracle." it makes your hair SUPERRR soft (:

if your hair is dyed, highlighted, use Kiwi, by Matrix. it works like a dream!

cute hairstyles -

if you have straightened hair, or if you straighten your hair, then:

leave it down

put it in a messy bun, always cutee (:

curly/wavy hair -

always attractive. use "Garnier Sleek %26amp; Shine Frizz Serum" and your frizz in under control.

leave it down

half-up, half-down

curl it with a curler, to keep your curls in all day looong (:

Hair Problems!! Plz Help!?

Nioxin hair products are pretty good but can be expensive. You have to get it at a salon or order it on-line. If you want something you can get anywhere Aussie volume shampoos are really good and Target sells Matrix Amplify which is really good too. As far as a good cut, I think long layers are best. I have thin hair too and long layers have always worked best for me. Avoid one length haircuts because your hair will just lay flat and have no movement. Also, try using a root lifter before styling your hair. Best ones I've used so far are Matrix Amplify root lifter and the one by Suave. Yep, Suave. Hope this helps. :)

Hair Problems!! Plz Help!?

Use a volumizing shampoo and conditioner- only use conditioner on the ends so you dont weigh hair down. Use Got2B styltini 24 hour hair thickner and a volumizing mousse before you blow dry. flip you hair over and blow dry upside down for more volume. For even more volume, tease the roots at the crown of your head, then use a comb to gently smooth the top layer. I like a low side part and either side swept bangs, a cute barette holding bangs on the side, or hair pushed straight back with a headband. Good luck!!

http://www.ukhairdressers.com/news5.asp

this is a gr8 website u can visit for tips, styles, haircare....

even i have thin hair but they're short. i use pantene silky and shiny shampoo. the green one.u hav to use one of ur choice.pantene is good. sunsilk doesnt work 4 me. and, herbal essences is a mild one.if pantene suits u,.also use pantene 1/2 moisturising lotion conditioner of ur choice.

i'll also give u a few of my choicest tips;

if its possible for you, bend down and then brush ur hair from the neck and work ur way upwards. this does ntot damage hair cuticles as normal brushing does. this also adds volume to ur hair.

dont use too much of straighteners or blow dryer on ur hair. it dries them out.

dont be int he sun too long. it sure does make ur hair lighter, and also makes it as dry as cotton clothes.no silk! they'll also tangle inevitably.

oil ur hair to make it healthy, smooth, shiny, and silky nd soft.coconut oil and olive oil nourish it and give it shine and silk and almond oil moisturises it.avocado oil makes it shiny and moisturized.

a good recipe here"

mix equal quantities of coconut oil, olive oil, almond oil, avocado oil and warm honey.

warm honey blends into the oil or it wont.

apply this pack for the whole day. if at night, dont add honey.

wash it after the specified time with a clarifying shampoo.

this pack makes hair shiny, silky, soft.moisturised, and removes all frizz.it shud be done 2-3 times a week.

also, u can apply curd to ur hair, massage. do this half hour before a bath.

if u want to make ur hair thicker, apply two raw eggs or how many ever u want to.egg protein gets absorbed and u get thicker, softer and healthier hair.

do all of these things with a gap of 2-3 days.but do the hairpack first for 1-2 weeks.

brush ur hair bfore u sleep to distribute the oils.

if u want to curl ur hair, use curlers and leave on at night or for the whole day. its better than using heat on ur hair.

Okay get side swept bangs and if your hair is brown, get gentle light brown highlights and get your hair cut to about your shoulders. that would look really cute on you!

I have very thin hair. It is not so curly or straight. Suggest me some cute hair styles. My face is round.?

Straighten it, put it in a pony tail, headband, side part, side bangs, ringlets, soft curls, natural, frenchbraided, pig tails, anything!

I have very thin hair. It is not so curly or straight. Suggest me some cute hair styles. My face is round.?

try something kirsten dunst has worn. she has wavy-ish , thin hair, and her face is quite round.

Mane and tail shampoo? does it really make your hair thicker?

does mane and tail shampoo actually make thin hair thick??

and does it make your hair grow faster?

please answer only if u know and have used it

Mane and tail shampoo? does it really make your hair thicker?

It does but not that thicker and faster as they claimed. Note: it cannot restore a loss hair.

Mane and tail shampoo? does it really make your hair thicker?

just be careful if you start to whinny it means you've used too much.

Mane and tail shampoo? does it really make your hair thicker?

I am a master cosmetologist and in my experience the people that I have seen after using this product over a period of time had dry, brittle and split hair. in my opinion I would NEVER recommend this product for human hair. but, if you insist on using it, get a good deep conditioning product and use it as directed, at lease twice a week, in order to get some moisture back into your hair.

Mane and tail shampoo? does it really make your hair thicker?

I agree with Tina C, my hair was so nasty after I used the stuff.

What is best product to keep whispy hairs at temples in place when you part your hair?

I have thin and whispy little hairs near my temples area that won't stay in place with the rest of my hair, especially when I part my hair on the side. It makes me look like I'm balding and having a combover or something. What products would work? I've tried regular Pantene and White rain mousse, gels, and hairsprays and they do not work. They weigh my hair down instead. (I have dark thin limp hair overall).

What is best product to keep whispy hairs at temples in place when you part your hair?

What you may want to do is try changing the part in your hair because on one side of my hairline I have whispy hairs that stick up and on the other side I don't.

What is best product to keep whispy hairs at temples in place when you part your hair?

use one of the types of sunsilk 24/7 cremes. they work really good

How long does it take for prenatal pills to work for your hair to grow?

i have really thin hair so i am taking prenatal pills, how long does it take to see a difference in hair growth?

How long does it take for prenatal pills to work for your hair to grow?

Well I would say that it might not work but if it does it should start to show in about 6 weeks after you get use to the pills.

How long does it take for prenatal pills to work for your hair to grow?

Its going to take about a month or so. Just be patient.

How long does it take for prenatal pills to work for your hair to grow?

Forget about pre natal pill. Go for Bio-Fen. I've been looking for so long for hair growth product and I found this one that works wonders. 60 pills for 2 months after the 1st month, I couldn't believe my hair was already past my shoulders. Now, I've never had hair as long as now in my whole entire life. It's expensive, but it's worth it. I used shen min before but the hair grew a little bit slower and that's for the same price.

Believe it or not, but keep an open mind and the least U could do is to try it. It will work way faster than those pre natal pills that you are talking about. After the 1st week of using Bio-Fen, my hair stopped falling. Now I'm wearing my hair long, and in it's natural state, no perm, etc..... and it's nice and soft.

Give it a try girl, you will not regret it.

Does anyone know a good wat to curl your hair so it will stay all day?

i have moderately thin hair that gets really soft and i dont know how to curl my hair right with a curling iorn or just regular hair curlers that you would sleep on. can someone tell me how? thanks8)

Does anyone know a good wat to curl your hair so it will stay all day?

roll your hair up in pin curls when it is wet, then leave those in overnight....when you take them out in the morning, you will have nice, tight curls :)

Does anyone know a good wat to curl your hair so it will stay all day?

Use some mousse or gel when your hair is wet, blow dry it upside down and use hot rollers. It will stay all day.

Does anyone know a good wat to curl your hair so it will stay all day?

Paul Mitchell Freeze and Shine hairspray is the best way to get your "do" to stay all day. I use it all of the time. You can buy it on sale at JC Penney's sometimes.

Need hair style suggestions - my hair is driving me crazy right now!!!?

My hair has gotten so long and thick that it is taking 1/2 hour to dry with the blower, and even then I'll realize it's still damp underneath. Ugh!!!

I'm going to Don Shaw salon and want to get a professional hairstyle that is easy to maintain (that I don't need to spend 1/2 hour recreating every morning), isn't too short but maybe shoulder-length or just a little longer, maybe thins my hair out a little, and doesn't fall into my eyes all the time.

So I'm looking for some ideas before I just tell them, do what they think works best for me. But if you have a link to an online hair style as part of your suggestion, I'd appreciate it.

(Guys are so lucky. My husband took Wahl clippers to his own head and gave himself a finger-length haircut all over and darn it if it didn't come out pretty hot looking! It just isn't fair!)

which one looks better should i get it why or why not and i get my hair thinned

Hair please help?

I like the second one the best, but that's just a personal opinion. How bangs look on you isn't dependent on thickness of your hair, but your facial shape/structure.

I would suggest going to a hairstylist you trust and discussing your options, what would look best on you, etc. Take in these pictures to show him/her what you want. Also, keep in mind that while bangs that hit your eyes may look hot, but honestly they're just a pain. So unless you want hair jabbing your eyes and having to constantly shove them out of your face, get something else (length is the key factor here).

As far as thinning your hair goes, that's entirely up to you. If your think your hair looks like a big triangle, consider it. But a girl at my school with really thick curly hair got her hair thinned and it looked awful. She looked like a poodle on a windy day. So be prepared for a bad look. But generally, if you're hair is straight, it won't matter too much. Still, a good hair stylist is always the best place to ask.

Hair please help?

the first one is way better

Hair please help?

side bangs, and you should get your hair thinned

last pic

Hair please help?

i have thick hair too... embrace it! use what you have and love it! that doesnt mean you have to go around looking like a shag-rug, but it definately means you have a gorgeous head of hair. and sure, why not get bangs? i have some. And the great thing is, is that you can do just about anything u want with them (versatile). just dont get like 1/2 of ur hair bangs or anything... just normalish ones like in those pics. for length, i think it was the 3rd one i liked best or 2nd. longish, but so they are still a bit above ur eye. and get em choppyish! you can actually trim them yourself so they always stay how you want them too

Hair please help?

not to be rude now, but how many times are you going to ask this question!?

and everyone keeps telling you YES.

just get it cut. its not a life changing experience.

it will come out perfectly fine. its not that hard, most hairstylist will do it perfectly and if it were to come out really bad, just clip it back and deal with it until it grows longer!!!

Hair please help?

yes they look good and are called side bangs just bring the picture with u to the salon they will copy it from the picture ...... layers help too with thick hair

I have seriously THIN blonde hair! Help me find a style that is trendy that I can do in 10 minutes o

; I have no mousses or gels, no styling brushes or combs (just a round brush, a comb, and a reg. brush) I have 10 min. to do my hair everyday for school and I want it to look trendy and fashionable but it is SO hard with my hair! PLEASE HELP ME! Thank you so much in advance! It has been years since I have been truly happy with my hair and you could be my hero to end my problem!

I have seriously THIN blonde hair! Help me find a style that is trendy that I can do in 10 minutes or less!?

if you have a curling iron, curl it or when you get out of the shower, put it in a bun so that when you wake up in the morning it will be curly, then let it down and individually peice by peice, put it back into a bun so that you have strands hanging down, kind of a bang look, good luck

I have seriously THIN blonde hair! Help me find a style that is trendy that I can do in 10 minutes or less!?

You should probably get up early before school and take time on your hair. Get it cut, buy some spray, or gels. Buy a straightener or curling iron. And buy some combs! You can buy like 8 for $3 at like Walmart. But most importantly, don't leave it greasy, that's just nasty.

I have seriously THIN blonde hair! Help me find a style that is trendy that I can do in 10 minutes or less!?

well i would say wke up earlier to take a shower flip upside down while you blowdry your hair and this will make it more full/ maybe go out and buy some bel that will hold the body in if that is a possibility and hopfully if this doesnt ruin you hair straighten the pieces that need to be straightened and hopfully most of the pieces will be already straight from you flipping upside down and blowdrying it!

Thin hair problem?

if i were to ues rogaine would it make it thicker?

Thin hair problem?

Omg i don't know...I don't think i would do that, i'd be to scared to mess up my hair. Just keep using thicking shampoos. Use Toppik Hair Fattiner, search that one up hopefully this helped. I have the same issue with thick hair so i'll be comming back here to see what people left.

Thin hair problem?

i doubt it

it was mainly formulated for hair loss not thickening hair

Can you tell the difference between stress-related hair loss and permanent balding?

I went through a real traumatic period a few months back and my hair started falling out quite quickly. But thin hair and balding are in my family so I am wondering if it will ever come back? I am early 30's.

Can you tell the difference between stress-related hair loss and permanent balding?

are you stressed or was your father bald by 40 ?

Can you tell the difference between stress-related hair loss and permanent balding?

I would suggest to have a routine life, eat regularly, and sleep

regularly.

See the doctor , you will get a liquid.

Then your hair will come back.

Make sure you must not get stress.

Try not think anything at all.

If you have a permanent balding part, that can not do anything even doctor.

Just do what I said. you will be OK

I can't keep it out.. I've thinned my hair, used oils, used products from regular stores and hair salons, but it doesn't work! Help! My hair is sooo Curly , frizzy, dry and poofy!?

I have the same kind of hair so and I tried so many different things 2 thing that I do are !

1.Wash it and condition it scrunch it with gel and put either de-frizzing cream in it or Garnier Fructis leave in conditioner

or.....

2. My fave way, wash and condition diffuser dry it then put a little bit of de-frizzing cream in it

Help! My hair is sooo Curly , frizzy, dry and poofy!?

Try to find a salon professional who is excellent at doing hair like yours. They will know how to trim and shape your hair, plus reduce bulk. They will also have products suitable. Some great ones are the straight gels which will control frizz but wont by themselves make hair straight. Also products designed to separate the curls and let them lay closer to your head. Redken has a great line of Products for curly hair. Last resort might be to get a chemical relaxer to give you some control over the volume and curl. You dont need to get it straight with this product, just reduce the curl. This is called a perm and will last many months. I recommend a product that is a "thio" relaxer as opposed to a "lye" relaxer which is very strong. I hope this helps. There are great curly hair experts out there, you just have to check around.

Help! My hair is sooo Curly , frizzy, dry and poofy!?

Use some sort of straightening serum which you can get at most hair salons. And buy a good straightener, such as a Chi or GHD. They're expensive but WELL worth it.

As for styling your hair, I'd need a picture to really know. But just make sure you part it on the side; middle parts are never very flattering.

:]

My hair is a bit dull. help?

OK, well, I have ultra-thin blonde hair about shoulder length, and it looks super cute when I have it down %26amp; completely straight, but it's just a bit dull.

Like, I want it to be shiny %26amp; really healthy-looking, and my friend says that washing your hair every day (w/ conditioner) like dries out your hair or something...and i do that...

Also, I highlighted my hair with a shade of blonde a lil lighter than mine a few months ago, and so it's starting to come out a lil, but not too bad, so does that have something to do with it?

Ok, so if you have any tips, good products, or remedies you'd like to tell me, please share!!!

p.s: my mom is so not into, like, really expensive products, and I don't think it's healthy to use a kazillion products on your hair daily....so try to keep the cost and amount down....thnx!!

My hair is a bit dull. help?

Give your hair a vinegar rinse. Mix 1 tsp of white vinegar (most people prefer cider vinegar) with 2 cups of water and rinse hair with it post shampoo. Leave on for a couple of minutes and wash off. Follow with your conditioner. This will remove any build-up your hair might have and make it nice and shiny and your high-lights will look even brighter. This can be done once every two weeks. Also, try not to wash your hair every day.

My hair is a bit dull. help?

massage your scalp with wheatgerm oil

My hair is a bit dull. help?

You may be washing it too much (yes, too much.) Washing your hair takes away the natural oils that reside on the shaft and make it shiny. Also, you may be over-conditioning. Conditioner builds up and may cause your hair to look dull.

My hair is a bit dull. help?

I'm tellin you,Pantene products will make your hair and gorgeous!Try it!!Merry Christmas.

My hair is a bit dull. help?

Well, its ok my hair is dull too and i have problems trying to lift it up...but i have been using this shampoo call Sun Silk...and on the bottom it says...something like is your hair dull...need a lift...i don't remember but try it, it really works:)

My hair is a bit dull. help?

Go and buy Sunsilk products. About $3.99 each. Or Pantene with the green band on it or is it the purple band on it or the red band on it. These have gold design on the front. $4.99 each approx. Shampoo/conditioner combo.

Glosses by Redken Glass 1 $11.00 each.

My hair is a bit dull. help?

Blondes

Rosemary is the trick for blonde beauties who want more shine. Simply boil 1 tablespoon of fresh rosemary needles in one quart of water for 10 minutes. Let the solution cool then strain out the needles. Pour the liquid into an air-tight container and apply as a final rinse every time you shampoo your hair. Use approximately 1/2 a cup each time. The theory with this natural hair enhancement idea is that the yellow oil from the rosemary brightens your hair by coating each strand. Your rosemary solution will last up to a week.

My hair is a bit dull. help?

This might sound dumb, but rinse your hair in cider vinegar. It'll be squeaky clean and shiny. Use cool water also with the vinegar. It must be cider vinegar. Very inexpensive from the grocery store, but your Mom might have some on hand.

Why is my golden retriever puppy's new hair look so thin and short?

Hi, people. My very cute golden retriever Copper and I live in Chicago. He just started loosing his baby hair about 2 weeks ago. But the new hair that came out is coarse but very thin and short! He is getting these signature golden retriever hair like the brush-like hair behind each leg and the wavy chest hair. But they are like one inch long only. People think he's lost weight because the hair makes him look scrawny. It's been more than a week, should his hair fill out by now? I don't want to give him another shower cus I worry he's gonna loose a lot of hair like he always does! Please help stressed out mom!

Why is my golden retriever puppy's new hair look so thin and short?

Don't worry, he's just losing his puppy fur and it will soon grow back. They always look skinny when they lose their coats and it takes a couple of months to grow back.

My male pup looked like a string bean about a month ago because his hair was coming out in handfuls but now it's coming back and is beginning to get nice and thick again.

Never be tempted to give him more food when they are going through this shedding phase because once the hair grows they will look normal again

Keep brushing him to remove all the dead hair and it should return to its former glory in about 6/8 weeks..

Why is my golden retriever puppy's new hair look so thin and short?

Most likely it's just a stage in your pups life.

Remember yourself when you hit puberty.

Why is my golden retriever puppy's new hair look so thin and short?

He's just a puppy this is normal it will start growing out soon dont worry

Why is my golden retriever puppy's new hair look so thin and short?

I would say give it time and it will grow out like it is supposed to. It takes awhile for their hair to grow in long and thick. Be patient!

Why is my golden retriever puppy's new hair look so thin and short?

Do you think your hair just magically grew in looking like it does now when you were a baby? Exactly.

And, a week? Hair takes more time to grow than that.

Why is my golden retriever puppy's new hair look so thin and short?

The other answers below all sound right - either that or you've bought a labrador by mistake!

Why is my golden retriever puppy's new hair look so thin and short?

because its a new born wait a little long

Why is my golden retriever puppy's new hair look so thin and short?

It will probably be at least 2 to 3 coat changes before he gets his full thickness coat.

Why is my golden retriever puppy's new hair look so thin and short?

Don't stress over this. All long-coated dogs blow their puppy coat and the new hair takes months to come in to the adult length. Don't over wash the little thing, dogs only need a bath when they're filthy or stink. There are natural oils in the coat that will help with the hair growth. Always use a dog shampoo, don't use people shampoo. Also, dogs blow undercoat in the spring and fall, this is why you're seeing so much hair coming out.

Why is my golden retriever puppy's new hair look so thin and short?

Golden Retrievers shed moderately in the winter and summer, and heavily in the spring and fall.

http://dogtime.com/golden-retriever.html

Why is my golden retriever puppy's new hair look so thin and short?

LOL he's lossing his puppy fur and now his adolsent coat is coming in! It will take months for his coat to come in and get somewhat back to normal, then he will shed that too before you even see his adult coat!

You need pacients and he needs to grow up alot more!

Why is my golden retriever puppy's new hair look so thin and short?

I woudnt worry about this to much as he is still a pup

so is still growing just like we do when we were little it takes time =) it will be fine dont worry about it but if it carrys on for a lot longer maby take him to the vets and they should sort it out =) Xxxx

My hair is very thick.. its curly/wavy.. and frizzy?

are there any other ways i can make my hair thin other than thinning it .. getting layers.. etc? and how can i make my hair more wavy rather than curly?

My hair is very thick.. its curly/wavy.. and frizzy?

buy john frieda frizz ease

My hair is very thick.. its curly/wavy.. and frizzy?

Switch to Garnier Fructis Sleek and Shine Shampoo. It boosts moisture and fights frizz and humidity. Also, try using Pantene Pro-V's anti-frizz smoothing serum. Comb it through your hair after a shower from root to tip. Then, once your hair is dry shake your hair out with John Frieda's Flawless Finishing Creame - Secret Weapon! It fights frizz during the day and keeps your hair soft and supple. Best of luck!

My hair is very thick.. its curly/wavy.. and frizzy?

Get urself to a good hairdresser and tell her to use thinning scissors to thin your hair out a little. Its great ! Also get layers but not too short ones. Id say chin length and below is good.

Then use a good serum and apply evenly to your hair, then rough blowdry it whilst brushing with a normal hairbrush (for about 5 mins) and when its dry enough, go through it roughly with straightners. Just randomly pick thick sections and let the straightner run through them, concentrating more on the front (about 5 mins) Tie ur hair loosely into a bun at the nape of ur neck and in 10 mins untie ur hair to reveal the most gorgeous hair ever !

Styleing and other things for thick hair?

Ok, I have really thick hair. When people touch my hair, they think of horse tails. Because it's thick, my hair is wavey. I have short hair too(rests on my shoulders).

So the question is, how can I straighten my super thick short hair and style(like bed head) the back of my hair(basicaly stacking it).

What's the best hair straightner thats the skinny kind(i have short hair so I need to get up high at the roots).

Also, how can I thin my hair? I've had my styleist ravor cut my hair, but it never really worked that well.

Also(sorry, lol), what's a good conditioner I could use(FRIZZY! Especialy after blow drying)

Also, I have only about 20 minutes before school every morning, but I can straighten and blow dry at night as long as it'll be the same in the morning.

Any help would be appreciated :-)

p.s. My hair is dyed

p.p.s. preferably, it's be nice to find these products at CVS or Walgreens or soome other common pharmacy

Styleing and other things for thick hair?

Ok, thick frizzy hair is a nightmare and it's taken me about 20 years to figure out what to do with mine so here's a few tips.

1. Sounds like your hair is dry - if that is the case, DON'T wash it too often! I generally wash mine every 4/5 days. Might sound a bit gross but trust me it is so much healthier for your hair.

2. Get a good conditioner - Frizz ease or something like that. Also, go easy on the shampoo - it'll dry your hair out more.

3. Learn how to blow dry properly. ALWAYS use heat protective serum and if you want to dry it straight, use a round brush.

4. Get some good ceramic straighteners. Dead cheap these days GHD is probably the best.

With little time to do your hair everyday, it really will work out better if you just don't wash it as much. You'll see a huge difference in the quality of your hair and if you dry it right it should just need a little straightening top up every so often.

Good luck!!

Styleing and other things for thick hair?

I so feel your pain. I have thick hair as well that I can't seem to manage without my flat iron. I use a Babyliss ( http://www.babyliss-hair-tools.com/babyl... ) every morning. I know it's a little expensive depending which country you're in, but for thick hair, it's the only one that will work wonders. As far as conditionners goes, I use L'oreal Vive pro for coloured hair that's dry, so my hair doesnt get as frizzy. hope it helps!

Can i still get really choppy hair if my hair is really thin?

I really want this haircut :

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v225/T...

but my hair is thin can i still get it done?

Can i still get really choppy hair if my hair is really thin?

You can and in fact, it may give your hair more body/volume.

Can i still get really choppy hair if my hair is really thin?

yea

Can i still get really choppy hair if my hair is really thin?

yes.. I have choppy hair and it is thin..

so i believe you can too.

Can i still get really choppy hair if my hair is really thin?

NOOO

i have thin hair, and you will hate it, your hair will look a million times thinner, plus i think youd be dissapointed that it wouldnt stand up like that.

a few layers you can, and itll help with a FEW layers, but that hair cut is too dramatic for thin hair since the hair on the bottom is so thin, itll look like a mullet cut.

Can i still get really choppy hair if my hair is really thin?

No, its better if its thin.

Can i still get really choppy hair if my hair is really thin?

yes....actually with that hair, thinner is better. but the little spikes at the top might not work that good but it could.

Can i still get really choppy hair if my hair is really thin?

I suffer from the same problem, and i actually got my haircut in a similar style..Unfortunately I am letting it grow out again, because being that i have thin hair it tends to fly away more.... regardless of how much gel, or whatever I use.

Please talk to a certified beautician in person to find out if it is good for your thin hair. Don't make the same mistake I made....

P/S My haircut isn't awful, but I can't wear it in the style that I want due to the fly aways, and flatness of it... (it is more flat due to thin hair and it being long)

Good luck to you tho!

Can i still get really choppy hair if my hair is really thin?

as a professional hairstylist i AGREE WITH SAM!!!!! your hair is thin it will not work your hair will lay flat on your head and look thinner than what it is now. the girl in the pic has thick hair..you would also have a tough time getting it up like that and for it to stay..good luck tho..

What straightener is the best for not damaging thin hair?

I just got a curlmaster ceramics/tourmaline, is this one good?

What straightener is the best for not damaging thin hair?

Aren't all straighteners bad? They do damage hair a lot, all of them. Just make sure to keep is moisturized by showering a lot and using the right shampoos and the straighteners wont do as much damage as it's supposed to.

What straightener is the best for not damaging thin hair?

The answer chosen dosent address the question

You asked, "What straightener is the best for not damaging thin hair?" %26amp; a 閳ユ窂est Answer閳?should have included a list of straighteners %26amp; why each is considered best.

Your "Best Answer" began with "Aren't all straighteners bad?" Report It

What straightener is the best for not damaging thin hair?

I've never tried that one, but the CHI is great. Make sure you use moisturizing shampoo/conditioner and never straighten your hair while it is wet.

What straightener is the best for not damaging thin hair?

get a Chi!! (if u could afford it)

I always use Infusium 23 right after i shower. Remember to always use sprays to condition and protect your hair from heat/environment before you straighten it

What straightener is the best for not damaging thin hair?

I've heard of it but never used it.

Chi is really good. Or for something less expensive %26amp; since you mentioned you have thin hair, you can try Conair 100% Ceramic straightener.

To avoid damage you can use a heat protecting product: Alberto VO5 %26amp; John Freida Frizz Ease serum.

What straightener is the best for not damaging thin hair?

all hair straightener can damage hair easily if u set them in high. always set in low, u have a thin hair it will not take a long time to dry.

What straightener is the best for not damaging thin hair?

it doesnt matter what straightener you use it will cause some damage by straightening the hair you are exposing it to direct, extreme heat. they do have sprays such as beyond hte zone Turn up the heat which help to protect your hair from damage and add shine

What straightener is the best for not damaging thin hair?

anything ceramic!!!

hope this helps!!!

What straightener is the best for not damaging thin hair?

I have an Andis Ceramic Flat Iron, and it is amazing, the high heat will not damage your hair, plus it has a 5 year manufacturer warranty.

How can i get healthy hair?

I have thin hair, it's dry, i have hairloss....well

how do i make it grow faster and healthier?

Exclude getting trims, i know about that one.

How can i get healthy hair?

This is an effective, natural, permanent, low cost cure for hair problems. Root cause of most problems is harsh, damaging ingredients in shampoos and other products and too frequent washing which inevitably denatures the hair AND scalp. By just stopping doing that healing happens. Best to use tea tree oil shampoo - buy at Tesco(own brand) cheaper than most. My hair was thin and I was losing hair - the following stopped the loss and thickened hair. To clear and eject accumulated stuff and dead folicules in scalp skin and pores, it needs stimulation to get revitalized and start producing strong, well anchored thicker hair that doesn't shed (and grows faster). Contrary to some thinking that brushing would shed more or break hairs, I regularly brushed with a palm held, fairly stiff bristled brush (50 times). There's a little hair shedding and some breakages only to begin with but it stops as hair starts growing stronger. Amazingly, some new growth happened and hairs grew longer and more appeared overtime. 4 times a week I massaged hair AND scalp with oil(an organic oil - olive oil is good, tea tree oil is better - it's a natural anti-septic) AFTER brushing and slept with it that way. Gives hair beautiful, healthy shine. I maintain a regular brushing(fewer strokes) and oiling routine and wash once a week(read up on alternatives to washing).Get as much sun as possible(vital natural vitamin souce). Eat healthily, with large proportion of raw foods and oils, drink fresh fruit juices, avoid denatured, processed foods, all sodas. I avoid restaurant foods(read up on what they do to food). I can be emailed(see my profile) if you want more info.

How can i get healthy hair?

How can i get healthy hair?

Use a good shampoo and conditioner. I use Pantene- Pro V regenerist.. it has the red band across it for strenghtening weak birttle hair... it works great on my hair and makes it hydrated and it doesn't fall out as much.

How can i get healthy hair?

Try taking prenatal vitamins. There is nothing weird in them, just really good vitamins. You'd be surprised how much that will improve hair and nail health. It will also grow faster when you have excellent nutrition. Prenatal vitamins are excellent for that. My cousin uses them, and he is a GUY!! They are really good.

I have dry, tangled, thin, shineless hair...HELP!?

I had the same problem. use bio fussion. It come in a big tall pump bottel. Totally love it.

I have dry, tangled, thin, shineless hair...HELP!?

if your hair is thin you dont need the hydration

but try herbal essense Volumizing shampoo and dont use the 2in1 shampoo/conditioner you will see and feel a huge difference with the seperate shampoo and seperate conditioner..

hydrations shampoo are not what you need... get volumizing

I have dry, tangled, thin, shineless hair...HELP!?

I use Joico KPAK Reconstructor conditioner, and it's helped my hair oh so much. My hair is extremely fried, and this is the only thing that will detangle it and make it soft and shiny.

I have dry, tangled, thin, shineless hair...HELP!?

unfortunately, your have hair that tangle.

things you can do is:

do not go to sleep with wet hair

deep condition- yourself or salon

get a trim regularly.

put some moisturaizer.

no color, no perm- chemical make your hair much dry

if you can change your shower head with filter or neutralize choline, much better.

they are $150 or more.

good luck!

My hair is getting thin, what can help?

i'm 21 years old. my hair has been gradually falling out and getting thinner since i was around 19 or so. i think it has alot to do with stress from college and work. my dad is going bald but he didn't start until his late 30's and is now 46. i'm too young to loose my hair. i've seen supplements and such and rogaine but do any of these really work?

My hair is getting thin, what can help?

Start taking a multivitamin and an amino acid. These will also strengthen your nails. Take care of yourself and eat healthy too. A lot of people don't realize that eating healthy has a lot to do with some of the things that happen to our bodies such as hair loss or weight gain or soft nails etc... Good luck!

Of course there is always hair plugs too which are expensive and look horrible.

My hair is getting thin, what can help?

You can try herbal medication to get rid of hair loss. There are a lot of herbal products in market but you can try Provillus or Rogaine.

Hair loss is a wide spread phenomenon shared by many man and women alike. What better than a natural approach to treat hair loss amongst both men and women? Provillus is an all natural hair loss medication which is devoid of any harmful side effects.

Although men and women both experience pattern baldness, the typical order of hair loss or appearance is not similar. Therefore, Provillus natural hair loss medication acts differently for men and women, aiding them to treat hair loss efficiently. For more information visit: http://www.haircaretips.net/provillus.ht...

Rogaine (Minoxidil) medication works effectively for both men and women. With Minoxidil as its active ingredient, Rogaine is one of the most popular hair loss treatments available in the market for use. It acts on your hair follicles rather than your hair, facilitating healthy hair re-growth.

This FDA endorsed hair loss treatment for both men and women is available in the strength of 2% and 5% Minoxidil. While 2% of Minoxidil is suggested for use by either of the gender, but 5% of this medication is meant for usage specifically by men. Speak with your doctor to well-acquaint your self about the appropriate usage directions, and whether it is suitable for you or not. For more information visit: http://www.haircaretips.net/rogaine.html

I started taking biotin pills to help make my thin hair stronger but r prenatal vitamins better?

Biotin works just fine. I'm a hairstylist and I've had my "thinning" clients on Biotin and Flax. If you go to your local health food store you can find Flax seed oil, Flax seed pills, or actual Flax seeds. I recommend the Flax oil pills. You can take them with breakfast, open them and put them in your smoothie or coffee ext... Flax has worked wonders on my clients and it also makes your skin glow and your nails healthy too. Why not be all around healthy and get the Flax Seed whole wheat bread, not only are you helping your hair you're also enhancing your health.

Hairpieces or weaves. Hairpieces are made from human or synthetic hair that is implanted into a nylon netting. Hairpieces may be attached to the scalp with glue, metal clips, or tape. Hair weaving involves sewing or braiding pieces of long hair into existing hair.

Hair care products and styling techniques. Hair care products or perms may make hair appear thicker. Dyes may be used to color the scalp.

Behavior modification, if hair loss is caused by compulsive pulling of your hair (trichotillomania).

The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) warns consumers that other than FDA-approved minoxidil (Rogaine), there are no over-the-counter creams, lotions, or other products that can induce new hair to grow or cause hair to become thicker. Also, shampoos that claim to promote hair growth by unclogging follicles have not been proven to work. However, there are some products that may make hair appear thicker and others that may cover bald spots.

Limited research on the dietary supplements saw palmetto and beta-sitosterol shows they may help men with inherited hair loss (androgenetic alopecia) regrow hair.

Here are your best bets for eating well. These 10 health foods are some of the healthiest because they meet at least three of the following criteria:

Are a good or excellent source of fiber, vitamins, minerals and other nutrients

Are high in phytonutrients and antioxidant compounds, such as vitamins A and E and beta carotene

May help reduce the risk of heart disease and other health conditions

Are low in calorie density, meaning you get a larger portion size with a fewer number of calories

Are readily available

Click on the tabs to the left to find out more about these foods and what makes them good choices.

Apples

Why eat apples? Apples are an excellent source of pectin, a soluble fiber that can lower blood cholesterol and glucose levels. Fresh apples are also good sources of the vitamin C é–³?an antioxidant that protects your body's cells from damage. Vitamin C also helps form the connective tissue collagen, keeps your capillaries and blood vessels healthy, and aids in the absorption of iron and folate.

Almonds

Why eat almonds? These tear-shaped nuts are packed with nutrients é–³?fiber, riboflavin, magnesium, iron and calcium. In fact, almonds have more calcium than any other nut é–³?70 milligrams (mg) in 23 almonds. And one serving of almonds provides half of your body's Recommended Dietary Allowance (RDA) of vitamin E.

Like all nuts, almonds provide one of the best plant sources of protein. And they're good for your heart. Most of the fat in almonds is monounsaturated fat é–³?a healthier type of fat that may help lower blood cholesterol levels.

Blueberries

Why eat blueberries? Blueberries are a rich source of plant compounds (phytonutrients). As with cranberries, phytonutrients in blueberries may help prevent urinary tract infections. Blueberries may also improve short-term memory and promote healthy aging.

Blueberries are also a low-calorie source of fiber and vitamin C é–³?1 cup of fresh blueberries has 83 calories, 3.5 grams of fiber and 14 mg of vitamin C.

Broccoli

Why eat broccoli? Besides being a good source of calcium, potassium, folate and fiber, broccoli contains phytonutrients é–³?a group of compounds that may help prevent chronic diseases, such as heart disease, diabetes and some cancers. Broccoli is also a good source of vitamins A and C é–³?antioxidants that protect your body's cells from damage.

Red beans

Why eat red beans? Red beans é–³?including small red beans and dark red kidney beans é–³?are good sources of iron, magnesium, phosphorus, potassium, copper and thiamin. They're also an excellent low-fat, low-calorie source of protein and dietary fiber. Red beans also contain phytonutrients that may help prevent chronic diseases such as cardiovascular disease and cancer.

Salmon

Why eat salmon? Salmon is an excellent source of omega-3 fatty acids é–³?a type of fat that makes your blood less likely to form clots that may cause heart attacks. Omega-3s may also protect against irregular heartbeats that may cause sudden cardiac death, decrease triglyceride levels, decrease the growth of artery-clogging plaques, lower blood pressure and reduce the risk of stroke.

In addition to being an excellent source of omega-3s, salmon is low in saturated fat and cholesterol and is a good source of protein.

Spinach

Why eat spinach? Spinach is high in vitamins A and C and folate. It's also a good source of riboflavin, vitamin B-6, calcium, iron and magnesium. The plant compounds in spinach may boost your immune system and may help keep your hair and skin healthy.

Sweet potatoes

Why eat sweet potatoes? The deep orange-yellow color of sweet potatoes tells you that they're high in the antioxidant beta carotene. Food sources of beta carotene, which are converted to vitamin A in your body, may help slow the aging process and reduce the risk of some cancers. Sweet potatoes are also good sources of fiber, vitamins B-6, C and E, folate and potassium. And like all vegetables, they're fat-free and relatively low in calories é–³?one small sweet potato has just 54 calories.

Vegetable juice

Why drink vegetable juice? Vegetable juice has most of the vitamins, minerals and other nutrients found in the original vegetables and is an easy way to include vegetables in your diet. Tomato juice and vegetable juices, which include tomatoes, are good sources of lycopene, an antioxidant which may reduce the risk of heart attack, prostate cancer and possibly other types of cancer. Some vegetable and tomato juices are very high in sodium, so be sure to select the low-sodium varieties.

Wheat germ

Why eat wheat germ? At the center of a grain of wheat is the wheat germ é–³?the part of the seed that's responsible for the development and growth of the new plant sprout. Though only a small part of the wheat seed, the germ is a highly concentrated source of nutrients, including niacin, thiamin, riboflavin, vitamin E, folate, magnesium, phosphorus, potassium, iron and zinc. The germ also contains protein, fiber and some fat.

Take a trip to you hairdressers and ask their advise as to what is the right treatment for your hair.

It may be a scalp condition or it may be due to a weakening of the growing hair in the follicles, as the actual hair itself is dead.

But what ever it is that is causing the thinning you need to get professional advise, for our hair is usually one of our best assets

It is what we think is so precious that we choose to cover it out of respect to Allah swt and in our modesty.

So take care of the gift you have been given and get the right advice.

HELP!!! I have thick hair . . .?!?

My hair is short and wavy with a short fringe up to my eyes''bebe''. . . its not very thick and i can straighten it relativly easily, but wen i do its always poofy and not sleek and thin!!! (my hair is layered).Any other suggestions except thinning it at the hairdressers?

HELP!!! I have thick hair . . .?!?

Start washing your hair more often.

HELP!!! I have thick hair . . .?!?

Get a japenese hair relaxer. The cost depends on what brand and how long you're hair is. It is roughly around $500 and down; it costs a lot , but it lasts about 1 year.

HELP!!! I have thick hair . . .?!?

Use Herbal Essences Straightening Spray. Its 4 dollars and it works really well. After you finish straightening spray some on... make sure to shake the bottle first. My hair is thick and curly/wavy too. I hate it. This wont completely unpoof your hair but it will make it a bit less poofy.

HELP!!! I have thick hair . . .?!?

put some product in it.

HELP!!! I have thick hair . . .?!?

I have thick hair also, my hair also has a wave to it. I use a lot of conditioner to make it "lay down" and I straighten it with a Chi Flat Iron.

HELP!!! I have thick hair . . .?!?

I would say go to a different place to get you hair done. They can do amazing things w/ any type of hair. Also be glad that it's thick and not thinning. One of my high school teachers started losing her hair. You could see her scalp in areas. I think that your just not going to the right place.

HELP!!! I have thick hair . . .?!?

Maybe the products your using. Try S Factor by TIGI. It is great for sleek, shiny, smooth hair. Do you use a straightner?? That can always help.

HELP!!! I have thick hair . . .?!?

You can use baby oil. Helps with my hair. I use pant pro v conditionair that also helps too and it keeps my hair from being too curly and too thick. And alway brush your hair when wet becuase if you wait when your hair dries your hair just spounges up. Hope this works for you as it works for me,

HELP!!! I have thick hair . . .?!?

using a "shine spray" will make your hair appear thinner while adding an extra glow. Just spray it in after blowdrying your hair, before or after straightening (different products have different instructions).

HELP!!! I have thick hair . . .?!?

try to use a spray specialy made for when you straighten it your hair can get damaged when using heated tools like straighteners and curlers so shop around find a spray and apply alittle bit near the roots of your hair and comb out then straighten your hair it works for me i have the same problem........ if you can not find this spray try to tame ur hair my friend had a problem like this but every day she combed her hair into a sertain style and eventually it ended up straightening out on its own i hope i helped =]]

I have thin hair down to my eyes is there a way to get thicker shaggier hair??(myspace.com/andrewfor

Aussie brand puts out some very good products for this, that won't break your wallet.

I have thin hair down to my eyes is there a way to get thicker shaggier hair??(myspace.com/andrewforts... )?

Try horse shampoo. I've never tried it but my sister and several other people I know have always told me it works. I think my sister bought it at walmart, it's under the regular shampoo section.

**PICS** layered, razored, thin, straight hair? (brown)?

anyone have pictures of the hair i just described? im getting a haircut.

**PICS** layered, razored, thin, straight hair? (brown)?

Im sorry I dot have any pictures.

But I got my hair razored and layered.

if u have short hair, and u dont want it shorter, then DO NOT. get it layered. Its horrible. It gets a lot shorter..

But the results are FABULOUS!!

If i thinned my hair ?

Ok my hair was super thick so I asked my friend to thin it, and she did.

It looks fine im just wondering if it will ever be thick again?, like it was before.

If i thinned my hair ?

Yup, once the hair grows back it'll be thick again. Some people are under the assumption that if you thin hair it'll grow back even thicker, this is untrue. I have very thick hair and have to get it thinned about every 4-6 weeks.

If i thinned my hair ?

yes it will, unfortunatley, hair does grow back

If i thinned my hair ?

Sure, unless she yanked it out, it will grow back again.

If i thinned my hair ?

yes, your hair will become thick again, but you can always thin it again!

If i thinned my hair ?

Yes, hair does grow back unless you are going bald!

If i thinned my hair ?

When you get your hair thinned, you are just getting your hair texturized. It grows back faster than you would think.

If i thinned my hair ?

yes, if you dont have it thinned again. it will be that thick as soon as all those hairs that were cut grow back.

How to care for curly hair?

I have really curly, thin hair. It looks thick. I called 5 places today and 3 said FLAT IRON it. I don't think I want to do that. Best site or way to care for curly, frizzy, long hair?

How to care for curly hair?

My best advice is to scrunch mousse into it (I like Garnier Fructis for curly hair), then let it air dry for at least 20 minutes. Then blow dry with a diffuser, turning your head upside down and sideways. Then scrunch it and shape it with your fingers and spray with a little Pantene hair spray.

Mousse + air drying makes all the difference for frizz control and nice curl definition.

If you want more advice, check out http://ylcf.org/gotcurl/. It's a fantastic resource for curly hair.

How to care for curly hair?

buy frizz ease by john frieda, it works

How to care for curly hair?

Best to embrace your curliness and NOT try to fight it. Only way to do this is to see a good stylist who will give you an age-appropriate, flattering style. Good luck, m'dear, and remember: Whatever happens, it's only hair and IT GROWS BACK. Be brave and have fun!!!

How to care for curly hair?

only wash your hair 3-4 times a week...after shampooing and conditioning, add some frizz ease serum to wet hair...then add a golf-ball size of mousse to your hair and scrunch with a towel lightly...then diffuse your hair for a couple minutes with your hair flipped over...allow to air dry the rest of the way and avoid touching it before it dries (makes it firzzier) deep condition every other week

How to care for curly hair?

-use loreal anti-frizz cream after washing your hair

-use heavy conditoners when washing hair

-don't use clear shampoos too much

How to care for curly hair?

wow you are lucky you've found a person like me to tell you ALL about this. My hair is Long, Blonde, And EXTREMELY curly.

Everyone tell's me that they "love" my curls, but i just hate them.

if you want your hair straight, you need to buy a straightener.

I recommend Remington [ i think] wet-to-straight.

the only thing about this straightener is that if you use it too many times your hair will get damaged, and thats not what you want if you have thin hair.

To make your curls look beautiful and long, you need to take care of your hair first. if you have split ends, go to the hair cuttery and they will cut a small length off of your hair.

When you take a shower,

you can use either 2 types of shampoo/c:

-For Dry/Frizzy hair

-For Curls/Waves [ i use this one]

Right when your done taking your shower, try doing your hair immediately so it won't dry and lose it's moisture.

First: Get all of the knots out of your hair using a hairpick [your hairbrush can sometimes leave you split ends].

Second:Flip your hair upside down and put somthing that will hold your curls, like mousse or hair gel.

Third:Scrunch your hair untill mousse/gel is spread evenly.

Fourth: While your hair is still flipped, Blowdry it on Low while scrunching it with your hands.

* You and add mousse after blowdrying if it isn't holding that well.

good luck with your curls.

If use oil everyday whould that make my hair thicker?

There's no oil you can apply to your hair to make it thicker.

There are sprays/lotions that can make it APPEAR thicker, but oil definitely will not do it.

To make hair appear thicker, blow dry with your head up-side-down, then work some texturizing cream throughout.

If use oil everyday whould that make my hair thicker?

i don't think there is any oil to make your hair thicker.

but if you have ever heard of aloe-vera plants?

probably grow one in your backyard,

cut it off. and slice it into pieces.

it contains vitamins and some sort of gel inside, apply it to parts of you hair.

and for any products try rogaine.

If use oil everyday whould that make my hair thicker?

ok so when i was pregnant with my son i was losing my hair an it was thinning like crazy. my roomate has super thin hair and this helped her too.

take 500mg of biotin a supplement in the vitamin section of the health or drugstrore

and

nioxin scalp therapy shampoo and conditioner

its pricey but works wonders.

i've never heard of oils that thicken the hair, but peppermint oil and ginger oil stimulate the scalp for good circulation and growth. nettle extract coagulates oil n your hair making look fuller.

good luck!

Aveda store has a great selection for that, such as hairsprays and other goodies, you should really stop by and check it out!

How can I get my hair to hold curls? (from a curling iron)?

Mousse. Lots and Lots of mousse. Put a boat load in your hair and scrunch it. Stronger hairspray.

How can I get my hair to hold curls? (from a curling iron)?

First of all, try not washing your hair for a day or two. Slightly dirty hair holds curl better. Next, use a curl-enhancing gel/spray after your shower. When actually curling your hair, use Victoria's Secret hairspray. It keeps the curl in your hair all day and smells amazing. It's also pretty cheap! (I got one on sale for 3 bucks). You can find it at Victoria's Secret and La Senza (I think).

baldness traditionally comes from your mothers side of the family, so take a gfood look at your relatives on that side. If there is overwhelming baldness then try the equate equivalent of rogaine available at walmart for half the price of the name brand.

How to do my hair?

Current:

http://i134.photobucket.com/albums/q86/k...

How i want:

http://i134.photobucket.com/albums/q86/k...

Now, i do know my head shape, type of hair is almost the same.

What i really want is the thickness of the hair. How can i cut my own hair so that it matches the layers like him (A lot thinner)?

My hair way way too thick, and i want it to be like his hair. The thin-ness of his hair is what i want.

How to do my hair?

isn't that the same person in each pic?

How to do my hair?

more layer make your hair look thiner

Hair problem- I have semi curly hair, only problem is, it doesn't curl in the back, specificall

I have thin curly hair, only problem is, I can get it real curly in the front, only the back center part of it wont curl. It stays practically straight! I have highlights done. I was wondering what shampoo and conditioner should I be using? I want to enhance the curls, but take care of it because it's been dyed. Any help would be useful! Thank you all in advance.

Hair problem- I have semi curly hair, only problem is, it doesn't curl in the back, specifically, the center?

Try a curling spray. I have one called "Curl Up" that works well. I have very straight, fine hair and perm it. As the perm gets floppy and grows out and the top part of my hair (near the scalp) gets very straight, I use the curling spray and it gives the straight part of my hair a light curl that helps me blend it into the rest.

I tried a curling spray and curling shampoo and conditioner that didn't seem to do anything ("Curly Burly"), so don't give up if the first thing you try doesn't work.

Hair problem- I have semi curly hair, only problem is, it doesn't curl in the back, specifically, the center?

Do you tie your hair back? The weight of the rest of your hair could constrict the hair at the center of the pony tail. I have the same thing going on. The hair texture and color is different there.

Hair problem- I have semi curly hair, only problem is, it doesn't curl in the back, specifically, the center?

i have the same kind of hair, its wavy curly most of it except the upper back. my hair sty-lest taught how to keep it like the rest of my long curls. after washing don't dry it too much with towel let air dry, get some extra hold moose part it in the middle and put a bunch of moos on the scull then use your finger turn your up side down and massage that pat with fingers and lift your head up and just spray with good spray also use a spray for friezes it keeps it shinny i use citrus shine.

Hair problem- I have semi curly hair, only problem is, it doesn't curl in the back, specifically, the center?

When you wash your hair and put the shampoo on your head do you just put it on your head in one spot and then massage it out to the rest of your head from there? That causes flat spots like you are referring to. Rub the shampoo together in your hands first and put it on your head in another area, not the same area every time.

HELP! My hair is so thick and frizzy!?

well first of all, if you don't wash it often, it will become oily which feels really bad and can give you acne. What you should do is wash your hair in the afternoon, to give it some time to dry comepletely (after drying your hair with a hair dryer of course) around for 2-3 hours. Then you sleep on it. The next day, your hair will feel non-oily, and clean but it will be controlled because of the 12 hours that you have given your hair some time to expose its shine

How can i scrunch my hair?

It is simple really, all you need to do is buy a good mouse for your hair type. The same with your shampoo and conditioner. You need to be patient and take your time in trying this out for first time. After that, it should only take you about 5 minutes after showering. There are a number of very good products out there, try going to a chemist warehouse to get your products at a cheaper price.

How can i scrunch my hair?

Sorry, I'm not much help. I can think of a lot of ways to scrunch your hair but the thought police (Community Guidelines) would come get me, lol.

What should i do i thinned out my hair too much!?

What should i do i thinned out my hair too much!?

go to a hair stylist, dont try to solve the problem by yourself. Short hair is in right now, and im sure a stylist will be able to do something great and stylish with your hair, and you'll love it.. She'll also recommend products that will get your hair looking healthy and thick again.

What should i do i thinned out my hair too much!?

go to a salon before you do anything else. theyll be able to fix it. just tell them you dont like your ends, they might be able to get it layered or something.

Hair extensions and a hair stylist.

The hair extensions will cover up the mess you have made.

And the hair stylist will fit them and sort out the mess you have made.

Garlic, crushed and massaged into scalp, increase blood circulation, and prevents thinning of hair.

How do you make thin hair permanently thicker?

I dunno....but would like to know the answer ... everyone says there's no ''cure all'' but i do think that certain herbs and oils really help with skin and hair etc!!! Honestly....was told Lavendar oil is good for scars...had a fairly fresh scar - used lavendar oil - healed up with no scar , and everyone raves about tea tree etc...so there must be some natural / herbal products!

Im 26 and my hair looks like that of 40 year old men.?

How can I address the problem of getting thin hair or baldness

Im 26 and my hair looks like that of 40 year old men.?

First make sure you do not have any medical problems such as a thyroid problem, weight gain, sluggishness, tiredness, dry skin are all symptoms of a hypothroid so get checked out. If it is male pattern baldness which is heredity you can't do much. you can try some medications and creams, transplant or just get your hair cut short and wear your head like you are proud. Other than that I just don't know. good luck.

Im 26 and my hair looks like that of 40 year old men.?

Seriously- see you doctor- you may have a serious vitamin deficiency or thyroid or hormone imbalance.

Im 26 and my hair looks like that of 40 year old men.?

just live with it, its just part of your life, don't worry about it at all

Im 26 and my hair looks like that of 40 year old men.?

Shave it! I know quite a few hot guys that are completely bald. Ami James, off of the show "Miami ink" for instance is hot.

(And I know hot girls who have a thing for bald men.)

How do you make your hair look thicker?

i have fairly thin hair, just past my shoulders and wavy, i always streighten it or curl it with tongs and i will NOT leave it natural so try and convince me to. i wash, blowdry and streighten/curl it every morning.

How do you make your hair look thicker?

ahh...my experience from growing up in the late 80s/early 90s comes in handy here....lol. What we used to do is blowdry our hair upside down. If we wanted it really thick, we'd spray it with hairspray upside down. I personally would never wear my hair that way again!!! LOL

How do you make your hair look thicker?

How do you make your hair look thicker?

Introduction

Fine or thin hair can often look limp and flat, but you don't have to be a hair stylist to fix that. Follow the tips below to increase the volume in your locks.

Instructions

Difficulty: Easy

Things You'll Need

* Anti-frizz Hair Serums

* Blow Dryers

* Body-building Conditioners

* Body-building Shampoos

* Combs

* Deep Conditioner

* Hair Gel

* Hair Mousses

* Hair Spray

Steps

1

Step One

Choose a body-building shampoo and conditioner. Remember to use a light conditioner, though - heavy conditioners can make hair go flat.

2

Step Two

Look for the following in the ingredients: proteins (keratin and collagen), silicone polymers or polymeric quaternium compounds. These compounds stick to the hair shaft and make your hair appear thicker.

3

Step Three

Purchase a styling product such as mousse, gel or hairspray.

4

Step Four

Put a small amount of the product in your hands and rub them together.

5

Step Five

Run your fingers through your hair and rub the product into your roots.

6

Step Six

Lift and "scrunch" your hair (that is, squeeze it in the palms of your hands from the ends of the hair to the roots).

7

Step Seven

Let your hair air-dry, or blow-dry it using a dryer with a diffuser attachment. Also, try blowing it dry with your head upside down.

Tips %26amp; Warnings

* Add a little water to your hair during the day if it gets flat, and lift and scrunch it again.

* Most salons sell heavy-duty styling products, called putty and wax, which are great for working into the roots to make them stand up.

* If you're feeling daring, try coloring your hair dark brown or black. The darker the hair, the fuller it looks.

* Be careful not to use too many styling products, as they can weigh the hair down.

How do you make your hair look thicker?

I use a shampoo called "Amplify" It is made by "Matrix" I do not use conditioners, but there is one made by the same comp. I then blow dry my hair. ( there is ours " volumizing " shampoos' also) They do work. Go to any shop, and ask for it. It is not aval. in stores. Good Luck

How do you make your hair look thicker?

I wouldn't tease because it damages the hair! Get some "thickening up" gel by Paul Mitchell. Thats what I use to make my fine thin hair look thicker and hold it there all day long! I also add some strong-hold gel to get it to stay. I put both in together before I blow-dry. Just becareful how much you put in before you blow-dry because too much will make it dry feeling. Style while drying- try a round brush to get the natural curl! Good luck and I hope you try this method cause I know the feelin' girl! I have to do this everyday!
