How can I get my hair to hold curls? (from a curling iron)?

Does anyone have any tips on this? I have straight, thin hair. I have tried hairspray, but the curls end up falling out later. Does anyone know of a miracle product to help hold curls!?

Aveda store has a great selection for that, such as hairsprays and other goodies, you should really stop by and check it out!

Mousse. Lots and Lots of mousse. Put a boat load in your hair and scrunch it. Stronger hairspray.

First of all, try not washing your hair for a day or two. Slightly dirty hair holds curl better. Next, use a curl-enhancing gel/spray after your shower. When actually curling your hair, use Victoria's Secret hairspray. It keeps the curl in your hair all day and smells amazing. It's also pretty cheap! (I got one on sale for 3 bucks). You can find it at Victoria's Secret and La Senza (I think).
