Usually how much would it be to get my hair thinned?

Be REALLY careful about getting hair thinned one of my friends did it (she had really thick hair) and it was horrible!! And if you do get it thinned remember the more you use any hot tools the thinner it gets! Good Luck

Also, if you get some chineese straightener you just have to straighten your hair once and it stays straight all year*

if i ask for my hair to be thinned when i go for a haircut, they usually thin my hair, no charge.

My daughter is a hairdresser and I do believe that if you go in to your hairstylist to get a trim and ask her/him to thin it a little, there is usually no additional charge. Otherwise, I do believe that the well known famous chain she works for usually charges $4-$5 for thinning only. Some places do charge as much as a haircut though. Also, my daughter refuses to do thinning and does not recommended it. She says the only thing it does is cuts chunks out of the bottom part of your hair leaving the top just as thick, which makes it look even thicker. Her suggestion is to have a few layers put in your hair and have it "razored". This will make your hair thinner. As for the chemical straightners people are suggesting, do not do this! While going thru cosmotolegy school, my daughter had very curly (natural) hair. She used a chemical straightner on her hair and her hair was so burnt, brittle and damaged, it took several years to get it back into the shape it was before. Good luck.
