How do i keep my thin hair from falling out during bad weather ?

The best idea is to take a multivitamin of some sort, many brands make them specifically for hair, skin, and nails. Olay makes one, and it also has everything else your body needs mixed in with it. The best part is, you only need to take one a day. Also, if it's windy, put your hair in an elastic when you go outside. That way it won't get tangled and you won't have to rip it out when you brush it.

Eat plenty of protein %26amp; Jell-o... FOR REAL! A daily multi-vitamin supplement wouldn't hurt either... You also need to learn how to handle any stress in your life so it doesn't affect your health %26amp; sense of well being...

Don't keep it in a pony tail that might help it fall out... keep it oiled and conditioned... make sure you brush it and don't use to much heat on it. Do wear a hat or a hair scarf but not more than 3 hours a day and by vitamin e capsules and put in you hair. Or use glovers main and poor a spoon of it in you hair grease.

I had that same problem for years.

I first changed the shampoo and conditioner that I was using. Sometimes the ingredients that they have can be too harsh for your hair. I asked my hair stylist for good products, but those can be pricey. Dove is the only shampoo and conditioner that I use now.

As for hair products, this may sound funny but it works, I use body cream lotion. After I get out of the shower I let my hair air dry for at least an hour. Any body creme lotion will work, depending on the length of your hair; mine is down to the mid of my back, I use about a size of a quarter.

Also, be careful of hairsprays as well. Try a non-aerosol, or one that does not contain a lot of alcohol in it.

You can also get a boar bristle brush for your hair. You can find it at any drug store or Target. They run about $6 and up. It is gentler on your hair and does not snag your hair like other brushes, and it does get the knots out.

At night I keep my hair in a loose ponytail.
