i just bought bed heads volumizing shampoo and conditioner and it really is wonderful. Its in a pink bottle .... not hard to find. It smells really good too. :)

I don't really think that shampoo will solve your problem. Of course clean well styled hair always looks better, and thin hair can be weighted down by lots of styling products.
A good layered cut, and possibly a perm or hair color, will make your hair seem thicker. Use a light weight mousse and blow dry for more volume.

I don't know about shampoo, but blow drying my hair upside down always helps volumize it.
