i have really hairy arms and i have dark hair. ive read everything on this and none of it seems to help. i dotn want to shave because i will still get made fun of at my school. and im a type of person who cares what everybody thinks. and nothing can change that. At school last year in the summer or spring i started wearing t-shirts. All the guys made fun of me and it really embarrasses me. i know that they are just guys and everything but i just dont like it. It makes me really embarrassed and i just want to kill myself(not literally). So i want to know something really good to say back to one of them when they say " ewwww! YOUR ARMS ARE SO HAIRY! gross!" and no, shut up or "i can see your nose hairs" is not going to work i need something to say. plz help. or maybe give me an idea like, is there a thinner that can make my arm hair thinner and shorter and less noticable? or like..yeah. so i need a comeback. plz help!?!! :'(

Don't let them make YOU insecure. And anyone who would say something like that isn't worth your time, so spend it doing something else rather than obsessing about a comeback. Think about it: How productive is your relationship with your "friends" if it's spent trying to one-up each other?

really you should just tell them that you cant help how much hair is on your arms, and if they dont like it, dont look. you really cant do anything but bleach it, wax it, or shave it. if you shave it why will they still talk about it?

I'm sorry hun - f*ck them. Tell them when their hair stops growing on their @ss to say something...we're suppose to have hair on our arms. Some are just darker than others. If a girl says it tell her she should worry more about the hair on her upper lip than what's on your arms.

go to a beautician, she'll help you with it :) and don't listen to them, they feel bad about themselves and feel ugly inside so they say that to you to make you feel bad too... you shouldn't care. shaving isn't a good idea, maybe waxing would be better - it will also make the hairs weaker and thinner each time you do it. anyway, go to a beautician and ask. she knows everything about this :) good luck and don't give up! i'll keep my fingers crossed!

I understand your plight. I've always had hairy arms, legs, face etc. When I was younger, many people commented on it, but the people that really matter don't. I've recently found a product that I like, you can get them at Wal Mart or Target or such. They are hair removal strips. They are like a wax only you can do them yourself and decide how much or if any hair you want to keep on your arms, by how many applications you use. The regrowth isn't stiff and ugly like if you shaved it. There are several brands--Nair makes some and so do others, but I'm away from home right now and can't remember. Good luck to you.

Tell 'em something like "You're just jelious because my arm hair is thicker, wider and longer than that ONE hair you've got in your pants...or at least thats what your mother says." or "Come here, let me show you something", then when they are in range, kick 'em will all your might in the shins, and when they're on the ground, STOMP on that nice sensitive area just behind their zipper! You may want to make sure you are either wearing some form of steel-toed boot (for the kicking part), or perhaps some nice 3" heels (for the stomping part). That should do the trick, yeah, that'll do nicely. :)
