Does laser hair removal get rid of all the hair or just thin it out?

I had laser hair removal done on my arm pits and after one session the hair is already thinning. I have two more to go will it get rid of the hair or just thin it?

6 laser treatments should get rid of hair growth. Whoever tells you different has never had it done. Some people it takes 9 some take 4. I took 6. It will never grow back.

Continuous laser treatments should minimize if not completely deplete the hair. Thinning after one treatment is great, keep going and make sure to note the progress and discuss it with the aesthician.

dont take my word on it...this is what someone told me who works at a place doing laser hair removal. she said, the laser will kill the hair folicle so it wont ever come back. but the reason u have to come back for more sessions is bc there is always new hair growing and the laser can only target the hair it can "see" or that is in its GROWTH stage. also she said, that darker hair is seen better by the laser, if ur hair is white or really blonde, the laser wont pick it up. u usually come back in 7-9 week sessions bc thats how long it takes for new hair to grow. (the ones "killed" by the laser isnt growing back) this is new hair follicles that the laser didnt get. so thats why they have multiple sessions to try n get all of em. so basically it DOES thin it out more n more, but the ones u "kill" never come back.
