Hey, I have medium-longish hair thats like really thick and coarse/frizzy as well as wavy. It never will lay even close to flat unless I wear a hat for like 8 hours, which im getting tired of doing. Is there a way I can get it cut or thinned out a certain way so that it lays flat, and has the same shape as it does when it's wet (which i think looks a lot better and cooler)?

Go to hair salon and tell them EXECTLY what you want. Tell theem you want it layered. That normally thins it out alot!
